The purposes and legitimate grounds for processing of personal data
The basis for the processing of personal data is the agreement between the customer and the register holder and / or the consent of the customer and / or legitimate interest of the register holder. Personal information collected is used to execute orders. We need your personal information so that we can process your order, submit your order confirmation to your email, and deliver your order. We also need your personal information for handling complaints, refunds, or other customer relationship management.

Sources of personal data
The above-mentioned personal information is obtained from the registered person. You can give them when you are in contact with our customer service or when you subscribe to our newsletter. Providing information is a prerequisite for receiving an order and delivering it to you and, if necessary, contacting you regarding your order.
The recipients of personal data
The personal data is processed by employees of Vokant Group Oy whose responsibilities include handling the personal data and, on a case-by-case basis, other parties such as a logistics company that delivers your order, and IT service providers and an ERP service provider. Your information is also processed by an accountancy firm that records our accounting records as well as the auditor who checks our bookkeeping.
International transfers of personal data
We use outsourced service providers who might store information outside EU and EEA. Such service providers are for example Google and Facebook. The information is not regularly transferred outside the EU or the EEA unless it is necessary for the purposes of the processing of personal data or for the technical implementation of the data processing, in which case the data protection requirements of the current data protection regulations are respected.
The information is stored in an electronic format and is protected by generally acceptable technical means such as firewalls and passwords. Databases, their backups, and manual data containing personal data are located in locked spaces.
Personal data will be deleted at any given time in accordance with applicable law when the grounds for processing personal data no longer exist. We try to update the information and delete unnecessary information once a year. The Accounting Act obliges to keep accounting records for at least six (6) years from the end of the financial year.

If the processing of personal data is based on the customer’s consent, the customer may at any time withdraw his / her consent by contacting the registrar, see contact information above. After the cancellation, the processing of personal data based on consent is terminated.
Right to limit processing
The customer has the right to restrict the processing of personal data under the terms of the data protection regulation. For example, if the customer has indicated that the information is inaccurate, the customer has the right to request that their processing be restricted until the accuracy of the data is verified.
Right to transfer data from one system to another
